II Engineers Meeting
Friday, June 24th in OPT headquarters it will be held the second Engineers' Meeting. The representatives of the Italian Technical Service Centres have been invited to this annual event, where topics like OPT latest news and new products will be discussed.
The new website for OPT Technical Service Centres will be presented. OPT.cat has been developed in order to facilitate our collaborators’ work, as they will be able to get comfortably the techinical information and to manage easily the service paper work. In particular we will be introducing the new web forms for Technical Reports, Spare Parts Orders, Repair Requests and Warranty Claims. Furthermore, we will show other sections like the technical documentation, news and the contact form.
OPT new products we will be presented and the new Asso and Vanto software updates will be explained.
At the end of the meeting the representatives will visit the Show Room, where we will explain the technical part of OPT Century and we will show new tools, with relative codes, that will easy the repairs on OPT products.
New Software Key
A new software key for VANTO CAT, ASSO CAT and CENTURY CAT is now available. We inform that the previous software key needed to run VANTO, ASSO and CENTURY technical softwares has expired on the 30st of June.
In order to continue using the technical softwares it will be necessary to download the new software key by going into OPT.cat's section Documentation-->Softwares or by clicking on this link.
The software key is valid for VANTO CAT, ASSO CAT and CENTURY CAT softwares but you will have to install it into every single software to make it run.

ASSO OPERATING TABLE
To improve ASSO operating table batteries life the performance we reccomend to our technical service centers to reconfigure the system parameters.
First of all, if you do not already have them, download the ASSO CAT 2.7.2 software and 1.04 firmware.
Update the ASSO CAT software, then install the last firmware version into the operating table and finally set the parameters following the instructions that can be downloaded here.

Take advantage of your next maintenance service visits to optimize the VANTO operating system performance.
The new configuration of the system will improve M3/M4 motors performance and the column telescopic structure firmness.

To remove all doubt and avoid any error while ordering a control board, we inform you about the new codes for ASSO and VANTO control boards.
The control board to be ordered depends on the model of remote control that is being used with the table:
NOTA BENE:
Code 7702-008 will NOT be available anymore in the future and is now replaced by code 0097-702-00800.
Code 8802-018 will NOT be available anymore in the future and is now replaced by code 0098-802-01800.

DISCOVER THE NEW RETURN FORM FOR SPARE PARTS
In case of receiving an incorrect spare part or whising to return an unused brand new spare part, from now on, you will have to fill in the new return form on opt.cat.

As for all other services’ forms, upon receipt of the request, the OPT Customer Service department will process it and inform via email the outcome.

One of the best features about OPT tables is their modularity; a layout drawing is the best tool to understand how to configure a complete operating system and to check the compatibility between sections, accessories and tabletops.
In addition, through layouts it will be easier to see all columns and tabletops types, to look for accessories and sections codes and finally to understand tables configurations according to the surgery.

CHECK OUT THE NEW FW AND SW UPDATES FOR ASSO, CENTURY & VANTO
New firmwares for Asso [DSP 1.07] and Vanto [DSP 3.5i HMI 2.2m] have been released. New softwares updates are available too: ASSO version 2.7.7, CENTURY version 1.1.8 and VANTO version 3.4.8 .

NEW SOFTWARE KEY
ASSO, VANTO & CENTURY CAT
We inform you that software key of programs ASSO, VANTO and CENTURY CAT will expire in June. It will be necessary to insert the new software key, when asked by the program, in order to continue to use all softwares.

FIRMWARE DSP 1.08
ASSO OPERATING TABLE
A new firmware DSP for ASSO table is now available. It is the version 1.08, which corrects a bug related to the configuration of type B batteries thresholds. For more information, I remind you that the release notes are included in the firmware folder.
Get the new version by going to the software section of opt.cat or download it through the button underneath.
WIRING AND HYDRAULIC DIAGRAMS
TWO NEW DOCUMENTIONS' SECTIONS ARE AVAILABLE
Opt.cat section for tables’ wiring and hydraulic diagrams have been updated with new documentation. You will find the diagrams of newer models like ASSO and VANTO but also older ones like OPT70/2 or OPT80/32.
We recommend you to download the PDF files from the relative section as they could turn very useful during repairs.

THE ORIGINAL MODELS ARE BACK

VANTO FIRMWARE DSP 3.5p
A FIRMWARE CORRECTION FOR 8811 TABLETOPS
The firmware DSP version 3.5p solves a problem with tabletop model 8811-000. Only with tabletop model 8811-000 installed and by activating the longitudinal movement towards the legs section an error “movements blocked” could be generated in some particular conditions.
